Why We Exist
Global e-commerce shipping produces over 100 million tonnes of CO₂ every year. That's more than the entire annual emissions of Belgium — and it's growing at 15% year-over-year as consumers demand faster delivery.
Most online stores have no way to measure, let alone offset, the carbon footprint of their shipments. Sustainability reports remain vague. Customers are left guessing.
We started Carbon-X because we believe every shipment should have a transparent carbon cost — and every customer should have the choice to offset it with a single click.

How It Works
The Carbon-X widget appears at checkout showing the exact CO₂ footprint. The customer ticks a checkbox to offset — one click, no friction.
We calculate emissions using DEFRA-verified factors for road, air, sea, and rail. The offset cost is based on real carbon market pricing.
The offset funds verified carbon projects — from forest protection to renewable energy. Credits are permanently retired so they can never be resold.
